Can you put wheels on it?  Are there holes, threaded or otherwise to accommodate wheels?

Accepted Answer

No, there are no holes for wheels. If you are going to DIY it, you need to get some pretty heavy duty castors for this as the desk is heavy! I'd also be concerned with stability issues at that point

Question 2

How much weight can this desk handle? Would it be realistic to have a large TV (60-inch+) sitting on it?

I have a 45lb 49" Samsung monitor and have had no problems. The base is  Y shaped with half of it sitting on the 5" metal bezel in the rear supported underneath by a LIAN LI etched horizontal plate (look at the 5th pic above). The rest of the stand sits on the glass. You should be good if you can find a base that that either supports most of the weight at it's rear or one that extends past the glass area and sits on the metal surrounding.

Will this product be restocked? I'd like to purchase for my office, but cannot seem to find an available unit anywhere...

I called Newegg customer service on 10/9 and asked this exact question so that I can order one as well.  I was told that 15 had been ordered for shipping to their warehouse.  They did not have a projected arrival or re-stock date, but they (Newegg) have re-ordered them.

Does this desk have the ability to mount monitor arms?

Yes, at the rear between the set of fans, you can remove a 5x5in plate that would allow you to place a mount there. There are 4 screw holes, so you can install your mount and place the backplate back on at a lower position.

Question 5

Why are you showing the old version of this desk in the photo?  The photos for this product are for the previous version of the DK-05 called the DK-05E yet the description shows the brand new version of this desk the DK-05X.  You can easily see the error in that the exhaust fans are 4 on one side, 3 on the other instead of the correct 3 and 3 configuration on the DK-05X.  The original desk had 4x4 fans, the revision E version added monitor arm mounts and dropped the fans to a 4x3 configuration.  The new 'X' version added more monitor arm options and went to a 3x3.  Please update the photos.

I received the 05-X, running 2 water loops on 2 boards with 4x cards, 3x 360mm rad, 1 x 480mm rad, 2x 100 ml EK- D5 pump/rez combo.  Have to mod mother board tray down by 3/4 inch to fit Ek  block on 1080ti, evga fit with 2 mm clearance(check block height) also OC cool on rx390 is good, desk /case is the bomb, just wish it were 1 inch deeper, but that's what she said.

I was looking into this for a workstation and a gaming machine into one case, without the bulk of the cases. How is the heat dissipation with two systems running concurrently? What hardware do YOU have hooked up in it?

That all depends on your radiators. I'm using a 360 rad and even when overclocked it never goes over 50C

Am I correct that this has no ability to hook up CD drives, or deal with dual monitor systems?

On the right hand side of the front facing part of the desk, there's a section to install a 5.25 CD drive.

At the rear between the set of fans, at the middle, you can remove a plate that allows room to install a monitor arm. And at the side where there are only three fans, you can install another arm.
