I bought this case because I'm building my own "Super Power" instead of buying an Alienware this time. I personally don't trust them since they merged with Dell.

Anyway! I was watching an information video on this case last night and they briefly mention case lighting because of the Case Light Button on the case. So my question is...

Does this case come with lighting already in it or is that button for Fan Lights?

No the case does not have lighting, It is for the case fans one in the back of the case and the two fans on the hard drive cage are red led fans. They can be turned on and off with the case light button you seen in the video. There is also the fan speed button above the case fan button that has the same red LED. The case fan button appears to support other lights, I have not verified that it will as my power supply is already giving everything she has got to keep my rig running.

Question 2

Can you add a liquid cooling system?

Yes. There is not as much room as a Ultra tower but when I was putting my rig together we discussed future upgrades which included water cooling. On a side note. I really like the case and the drive mountings on the front can be set in such a way where you can put a CD/DVD drive in, but mounted a little further back and put the cover back on. Keeping the clean look like in the picture.

Question 3

I've purchased this case and plan on dropping in two SSDs.  Do I need to purchase some 3.5 to 2.5 tray adaptors for the SSDs?  Thanks.

No it has a cage in the bottom of the case for 2.5 inch drives plus the regular drive slots behind the fans also work for 2.5's. If you plan on adding additional fans I recommend putting them in the regular drive slots behind the fan cause the drive cage in the bottom has to be removed if you plan on installing the fans in the bottom.

Is this a working computer?

No. You will need to buy a motherboard, RAM, hard drive(s), monitor, keyboard, and mouse.

I bought this case for the ability to mount over 8 5.25 inch devices. 4 SATA portable racks (disk drive drawers)m 1 IDE portable rack, 1 DVVD burner, 1 Blu-ray burner, snd a floppy drive.
 I may install a fan controller/temperature nonitor later.

Question 5

Where is this "hidden toolbox" that is mentioned in the specifications?

It's at the very bottom on the front of the case. That silver logo you see below all of the 5.25 inch bays is actually a pull-out tray. All of the screws and other hardware for the case are stored there. The tray is secured by 2 screws from the front and are neatly concealed. Those 2 screws are special, although appearing similiar to others for the case, and should never be confused.

How solid is the handle?

One of the nicest most solid handles I've ever seen. More solid than the handle on your car door. Rather than an "attached" handle this baby is built right into the top for not only more stability but a sleek design. When your grab a hold of it for the first time you'll be even more impressed by its excellent rubber grip on the underside to reduce slippage. I've got a lot in this case that makes it weigh a ton and at no time will I be worried that the handle can not handle the 50+ lbs of luggage.

Although I have the full tower Trooper case, I've only built into the smaller, mid-tower Scout, and it was REALLY tight squeezing in the Corsair H70 with TWO fans, i.e., the fan on the side door literally touches (but doesn't rattle).

Love love love the handle and the Scout in all respects.  Have delayed building into the Trooper only because I've been accumulating the right parts ($$$); it'll be for my wife.

Why don't you come back and tell me how the Trooper does with the Corsair H110?  :-)  Your build specs sound killer-esk - and more than a little familiar.  I used the Asus P9X79 Deluxe MB and HATED it; it was so twitchy to build on; OK to run.  Love MSI MBs. It is wicked fast. I'll see if I can copy some of my specs here:

Question 8

What is the distance from the rear of the case to the hard drive cage?  The graphics card I want to put in here is 11.25" and Im worried there isn't enough room.

I got a little over 12.5" when I measured mine. My GFX card is 11.30"according to the manufacturer, and I have room to spare.

Hi How are you? I'm writing you this email concerning a compatibility situation with "CORSAIR Hydro Series H100i Extreme Performance Water/Liquid CPU Cooler. 240mm"? Will this be able to fit the CM Storm Trooper - Gaming Full Tower Computer Case without getting in the way with other stuff?

Yes it should fit. I have a similar corsair water cooler, and even with the fans I have plenty of clearance. The stormtrooper case will even allow you to offset the cooler if for some reason it doesn't fit. It has multiple mounting points so you can shift the cooler to fit your setup. You can move it left to right, or forward and backward by a couple millimeters. Hope this answers your question.

Question 10

Does the 2 optional bottom fans mean there aren't any, or does it mean they come with the case but aren't needed?

Also, will the 2 bottom fans fit with my ATX motherboard? (Asus Maximus VII Formula to be exact)

The 2 fans can be placed on the side of the tower or on the front. You can set your drive bay either way and have your fans blow through or exhaust out. So your fans match the position of your bays. As far as the motherboard, not sure I'd be shocked if it didn't though. Hopefully that's helpful. Awesome case. BIG but definitely recommend especially if its your first build (like mine) due to plenty of room. Only downfall in my eyes is you can't change the LED color of the power switch unless you re-solder or MacGeyver some stuff up.
