Does a double wide full length gpu (980 ti) fit ok in this case?

I use mine for a media server and I was able to fit a Radeon HD 6970 with exitended aftermarket cooling in it. So I would assume it will.

where do you access the drive bays for the dvd?

The front opens and you have access to add the drive bays there. It's a door which opens to your left.

How are 2.5" SSDs installed? Does the case come with a mounting bracket(s) out of the box or does one need to be purchased separately?

Yes the case comes with 2.5" SSD mounting bracket, should be no problem to mount you SSD onto one of the 3.5" bay.

How big of a fan fits in the rear slot?

Per the specs... Rear looks like a 120mm and is included.

• Removable top panel, with top fan mounts pre-drilled for 240mm or 280mm radiator compatibility. 
• Up to five separate fan mount locations 
• Front: 140mm included (upgradeable to dual 120mm or 140mm) 
• Top: Dual 120mm or 140mm

what type of connectors are the fans that come with the case? 3pin? 4pin, or are they already hardwired into the case?

They are 3pin. The fans are screwed into the case but are easily movable with a screwdriver. Wires are just hanging behind the motherboard tray.

Can you use Cooler master Hyper 212X with this case?

Hyper 212X is a fan cooler, if you dont plan to install liquid-cooling, there is really no need to buy this case.

This appears to be the same case as the Corsair Carbide  330R. 
Have there been changes made to the 330R ? I'd like to purchase one but would like to know why the item number and description have changed.

I am sure it is 330R, no idea why the description changed, but it doesn't matter. This case is great.

Question 8

Will an E-ATX motherboard really fit in this mid-tower?   I hope so!  I bought the ASUS X99-E WS and really don't need a full tower e-ATX case.  So, will a 12" x 10.5" fit?
