Is the side window clear transparent or a darker shade?

For the most part it's a clear transparent. There's a slight amount of tint, probably just enough to keep your internal led's from blinding you. But that's about it.

Is the side panel window a plastic or tempered glass?

Do you need motherboard standoffs for this case? It doesn't seem like they are included.

They are included. It's a great little case for the money. I used it two builds ago for a friend and went with a different case while building a light gaming rig for my niece a few weeks ago and regret not getting her one of these. No doubt will buy again.

does it have a fan controller?

not built in, no. Hell of a little case though. If' you like it I'd just suggest getting an external one. very well built and my favorite of the 10 or so I have had over the last 15 years.

Is there enough space to run graphics card in SLI?

Accepted Answer

It has four slots so theoretically, yes. But is it ideal? No. Given that the card is dual slot they will be right next to each other, if the card has a reference style blower (sucks in air from the case and blows it out the back) then it will be suffocated, a card that has an aftermarket cooler that circulates air inside the case will do better but will also be suffocated. This means your OC headroom is decreased and potential throttling due to high temps. Additionally it's difficult to find a mAtx mobo that has pcie express lanes one slot away from each other (they're pretty expensive). If you're planning on doing sli I would recommend you buy something a little roomier like a enthoo evolve or node but still mAtx form factor. Best of luck!

Does this model take a standard Power supply or something smaller and proprietary?

About any standard PS will fit just fine. That being said this case is smaller and tight when it comes to cable management. If your budget will take it get a PS that is semi-modular,that will eliminate several cables your probably not going to use.

Question 7

Are there dust filters for the front side vents?  Are they easy to clean? It looks like you'd have to take both side panels off to clean them.

Also, if I mount two fans on the top of the case, will there be dust filters for them?  Can I cover them if I don't use top fans or do grills remain exposed?

There is only a removable dust filter for the bottom PSU intake. I had an Antec case with similar vent on the front and found it is easy to regularly run a vacuum up and down both sides and it still kept the inside decently clean. If imagine this is pretty similar but I couldn't be sure for a while until you can see how the dust builds up or enters the case.

What is the max CPU air cooler size? does anyone know?

I don't know the exact specs for max cooler size, I would be more concerned about your RAM clearance with an oversized air cooler, since that's typically the more common issue with big coolers. I've got a corsair H75 liquid cooler in there now and there are no space issues whatsoever, however the block that sits on the chip isn't all that large. When I get home later I'll try and measure the vertical clearance from the middle of the chip to the top of the case and update this post for you.

does the front panel come off for space of 2 more fans? it looks like it has an exhaust in the front for 2 fans.

Yeah it does have space for two 120mm fans, I forget if the panel itself comes off (bought this case for my dad's build) but in the 5th picture you can kinda see the brackets at the front

Is this case compatible with full size graphics cards? Or will a small profile one be required. If used with mAtx mobo that has a tall cooler on it.

Although I sold the system which was built in the 88R, it was able to hold 240mm radiator sitting at the top with an optical drive. You also have the option for mounting (2) 120mm fans (up and down) or 240mm radiator in the front of the case, but without either of them you're looking at a/b 16 1/2 inches from the back to the front of the case... You're looking at a/b 383mm of clearance for a GPU. My GPU is 10 inches long. Hope this helps
