Features

Antec Computer Case

The Solano 1000 is constructed from Japanese SECC for extra durability and features a metal mesh front for optimal airflow. For card and CPU cooling, the side panel houses a blue LED 230mm intake fan and the two blue LED 140mm fans on the front panel cool HDDs. The top panel 230mm blue LED fan and the rear 120mm fan vent heat to minimize system slowdown.

Push your rig to the limit with water cooling. Holes are predrilled in the rear panel for external radiator installation. When not in use, rubber grommets keep the dust out. The Solano 1000's tool-free design makes adding drives and expansion cards a snap with thumb screws so you can get back to into the fight fast. Build your gaming system with the AZZA Solano 1000 and dominate the competition today!

Fantastic

Pros: Good fit n finish. Cool LED stuff, easy to maintain wiring.

Cons: Some parts of fragile. Must purchase replacement parts directly from Azza

Other Thoughts: I've been using this case for years, and it has seen a few upgrades, which means removing all of the old components and putting in new ones. This process has been a breeze every time. The case is very easy to tear down to clean, most of the screws do not even require tools. the LEDs are awesome looking, and the case comes stock with some good fans, making it heat efficient. Totally worth the price with the rebate. My only issue is, the top piece that is removable is very easy to break, you have to be careful with it. Even though mine has broke, the case still goes together fine, just when you remove the front panel, the top panel wants to come off so watch out for that!

EDIT: still rocking this case, however the front fans of this case have burnt out twice. The first set lasted a couple years, second set lasted less than a year. Azza made things right after the replacements went bad so fast. They are a good customer service brand, they answer quickly and ship very fast! Reasonable fan prices too. HOWEVER, my 2 large fans, and my rear side fans have been going non stop for years, and are still working perfectly! Great case, still enjoy it.

Great case - stands the test of time.

Pros: I bought this case in 2009 and have used it ever since. I've not had any issues with any components whatsoever.

The inside is extremely roomy. I've had probably four different graphic card setups in it over the years, including a pair of something or other crossfired. Currently running an XFX r9 390x, which is massive - but still fits more than comfortably. The 390x is known to run ridiculously hot - but ample airflow in the case, so I'm usually low 70s under load. There are two large drive bays, but I've got four SSDs and two standard 3.5" HDDs all in the same bay - leaving one drive fan free to blow more air towards graphics card.

Long story short: I am currently looking to build a new rig just because it's been too long since a total from-scratch build...
I'll pass this one off to my wife, as it's still runs like a beast - and I'll likely buy another one of these cases for the new build.

It's reliable and a great bang for the buck option.

Cons: No real cons. There are better looking cases perhaps, but I'll take proven reliability over pretty any day.

Other Thoughts: You will not be disappointed if you choose this case.

Great case but cheap fans

Pros: very roomy and has sturdy feeling to it.

Cons: The biggest con is the fans that come with the case. they are cheap fans and will stop rotating after a year or two.
I had to purchase replacement fans

Other Thoughts: none

Great product! Best tower I've ever purchased. Plenty of room to build and great features.

Pros: Best tower I've ever purchased. Plenty of room to build and great features. Runs very quiet.

Cons: I couldn't use the fan that came with the case door. My heatsink & processor was just too tall for it to fit, but I took it off, everything fit & it runs cool with out the extra fan.

Other Thoughts: I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this case to my friends. I will be ordering another for my husbands rebuild, soon!

Best case for the price

Pros: Not expensive for what it offers, big, ten 5 1\4 bays for my hot swap HDD trays, tons of futures, lots of fans, excellent design and air flow and better then some cases in the $300 dollar range, attractive, tons of room, all screw holes line up, tons of screws

Cons: metal little on the thin side but I'm not using it as a chair so its all good, plastic seems cheap

Other Thoughts: in the future if i need to buy a case. will i buy this case again? big YES, for $110 dollars it is a steal

Owned this case for 6 years

Pros: This case is one of the best cases I've ever used, and I've owned this case since 2010, and boy is it sturdy! This case will last you a long time and still look beautiful. I've swapped out 3 or 4 motherboards out of this case. Installed countless graphics cards and PSUs. It stood the test! All the blue fans still spin and still light up. One fan had got stuck, but peeling off the tape on the back of the fan and spraying some WD40 got it spinning again.

If you're serious about getting a case that will last and still look good, buy this case now!

Cons: Its too sturdy! Refuses to break!

Pros: Good solid case. Fit & slim.

Cons: Both front fans have gone out. Built pc for a prior build. Upgraded to a new case & let me nephew use this one. Recently got the case back only to find both front fans dead. Unsure if it's the hardwares fault or his. Anyone know how u can replace them from Azza?
