The specs say it supports FM2+ CPU's, will it also work with the A series FM2 APU"S?

I bought this motherboard and im not getting internet support please im using a ethernet cable strait to my router,any help?

Did you install the network driver?
Click the start button, right click the word "Computer" along the right side, and click "Properties" from the drop down list.
The new window that pops up will say "device manager" along top left, click that link...
If the network driver is NOT installed it will show in the list with a yellow exclamation sign over it.
You will need to install it from the included driver disk, or if you didn’t receive one, go to the Gigabyte site and look it up under support.
Even if you did already install a driver, you may want to update it to the newest version if your having issues.
You could also try replacing the network cable, its rare, but it could be a bad/wrong cable.
I assume because you posted this question using the internet, that other devices connected to your router are working fine?

what cpu would you recommend for this mobo?

Depends on whether you want a dedicated graphics card or an integrated graphics solution. Personally, I recommend the CPU I bought, the AMD X4 760K (unlocked and overclockable) & a dedicated graphics card for any gaming. This CPU is powerful enough for most tasks and runs around $80, giving it a lot of bang for your buck. If you're going for an HTPC build, I would recommend one of AMD's APUs for media consumption, web browsing and light gaming. Again, best bang for your buck would be the last gen AMD A10-6800K APU with a quad core CPU and an integrated 8670D graphics card which currently runs around $120. It will play many of last years games at low-medium setting at 30-40 FPS on average. For an HTPC, you will need a VGA to HDMI adapter as this board has no built in HDMI port, but these adapters are fairly inexpensive.
