If you are talking about the port for the front panel audio, yes ot does have one. Also this motherboard is amazing for overclocking and I personally have had no troubles, one of the best motherboards in my opinion.

Question 3

What video card play should nice with thes mobo?  My existing card should an ati r9 270x 4gb. Feel I’m doing it a disservice not upgrading as well. Any thoughts?

Any PCI Express X16 card will work with this board. The R9 270x might be a little under powered for today's newest games. It'll work but it'll also be your most limiting factor. While gaming the rest of the system will spend most of its time waiting for the video card. An RX 580 or anything from the Vega line would be better balanced.

Can the lighting change to purple? I want to do a full black and purple build and this board has everything I need. Except the purple..

Not sure to be honest with you.  Have not completed my build yet.  I'm still waiting for the ROG Strix 1080ti I purchased to arrive.  Wish I could help more but haven't powered up yet....

Will windows 7 work with this motherboard?

No it is a Windows 10 board cause of the CPU that you have to use. I tried to get the windows 7 to install and it would error out. After calling Tech Support they confirmed that it is a windows 10.

I believe it should, can’t say for sure but Corsair is really good about making sure ther ram work with both amd and intel, but you can google it
