Is there an M.2 connector on the bottom side of the board? I see a vertical connector on the top side, but there are not any images of the bottom of the board...

Yes, the primary M.2 slot is on the rear of the board. The 3 screw-down locations you see from the front to the left of the MSI logo heatsink are for the rear M.2 slot.

Are there two M.2 slots on this board? I see one near the rear IO and there is one under the board. So can I connect two ssd's to it?

There is only a single M.2 slot on this board. You can connect 5 SSDs (four SATA 3 SSDs + one M.2 SSD) M.2 max speed is 32 Gbits per second. SATA 3 max speed is 4.8 Gbits per second. Your M.2 SSD has to be NVMe and faster than 4.8 Gbps (600 MBps) or you're wasting the M.2 slot.

Does this board support Kaby Lake processors?

Yes, any 200 series Intel 1151 socket motherboard will accept Many Lake processors. This one in particular I currently have running with an i5-7500.
