I can't help you. I haven't had experience with the Ryzen Series. I built an AMD A10, FM2+ chip.
In July I am planning on using an AMD Ryzen 5 1600X, and hoping to get the B350M Gaming PRO, which supports AM4.

Is it possible to swap out the the wireless card for mSATA ssd? I am working on a really really small build, and I think it would benefit from having a mSATA sssd there instead of wireless card and use USB wireless dongle.

you can not use anything other than the wifi card.  I tried inserting a SATA adapter in the slot and the board fried (I had to buy a new motherboard).

Question 4

How would this motherboard hold up for a NAS? I plan on building my own NAS and im trying to do it on a budget of max $400. I have an ITX case already and a 120gb ssd for boot drive. Thoughts?

I am using this motherboard as a "NAS" -- Windows 10 x64 using Windows Storage Spaces, and additional SYBA(?) Sata III controller.
I purchased a 95W APU thinking I could easily drop the voltage on the MB to either 45/65W.  this PC doesn't need much "power" but since I re-use my components over and over as I upgrade replace, I thought the extra headroom would be beneficial.  However, while the board does support dropping the voltage down to either 45/65w, it does not make the corresponding megahertz changes to the APU (either CPU or APU).  This results in the system crashing during POST, just after post, or at the begining of loading the OS. I did try manually setting the APU voltages to match A6/A8 APUs, but none of them could run reliably.
I reset the voltage back to the default 95w for my A10, and repalced my case fans with more powerful models to keep the system cool.
I am using this board with 12 drives (6 on the MB, 6 additional on PCIe).
The system works great. Windows Power Management keeps the system running cool and the APU still has enough "power" to transcode videos using AMD's hardware VCE (A's Video Converter) and for the past year, it has done pretty well with transcoding h264 video using Plex (which now released HW Transcode for all Pass users).
The onboard SATA ports perform well and as I said, I use Windows Storage Spaces to manage my RAID, but everything works great. No reliablility problems and drivers and OS are stable.
