Can this board support the Intel Xeon 3040 Dual Core processor?

I recently upgraded to Windows 8.1 and want to purchase this board, Supermicros website doesn't show that this board is compatible with even windows 7, am I likely to run into compatibility issues if I try to run Windows 8.1?

No, I'm running Windows 8.1 on this board without any problems. Just download the latest motherboard drivers from the Intel website
