Is this board compatible with Windows Server 2008 and EXSi or VSphere?

for this motherboard, Supermicro currently lists download sections for Windows 10, Windows Server 2012 R2, and Windows Server 2016. However, I was completely successful installing Windows Server 2019 and all drivers. See my review here for more on that.

Can one use 2666 MHz ram with this motherboard?

The motherboard advertises support for 2400 MHz / 2133 MHz / 1866 MHz / 1600 MHz. If the base speed of your RAM matches one of these and only increased to 2666 MHz when using an XMP profile then it might work. Otherwise I'd suggest running with the advertised supported speeds.

Does anyone know if this motherboard is compatible with VMware?

I am using it with ESXi 6.5, no issues.

Will this fit in a 1U chassis with the stock heatsink and fan for a xeon e3-1200 v5 CPU???

No, you can't fit a stock HSF in a 1U chassis, and this motherboard will not work with Xeon chips. At presently, only the Coffee Lake 1151v2 chips are supported, and there are no Xeon chips that support that pinout.

There was a previous question regarding Xeon compatibility which, in short, implied this motherboard did not support Xeon at that time (it wasn't available with the socket yet). Now that some time has passed and more products are available, is it known if this motherboard compatible with an Intel Xeon E-2124 - LGA 1151?

The SUPERMICRO MBD-X11SSH-F-O Micro ATX Server Motherboard supports Intel Xeon processor E3-1200 v6 / v5, but there is no mention of support for the Intel Xeon E-2124.

Will this board work with Non-ecc memory? Will this board work with an 1151 I7 intel cpu

Yes, it works fine with non-ECC memory and it should work fine with LGA1151 i7 processors as well.
