Does the length of the card cause it to sag/bend?

Accepted Answer

No. Once properly affixed to the case and seated in it's slot, it is very stable. Yes, it is LONG, and cables need to be carefully worked around it. Also, once seated in the PCIx slot, the slot-lock may seem covered by the card. Do not try to force the card out if you need to remove it. Look around and most slot-locks have extra tab that comes around the back side to unlock and lift the card out. This card is very powerful, as promised, and amazingly quiet. LOVE IT!

is it have a back plate ?

Yes, but it is not RGB like the Asus GTX 1070 Strix and the Asus GTX 1080 Strix

i have 2 monitors that are old and don't use HDMI (both DVI), can i still hook both up to this card?

You will need an adapter for one of the monitors. The card has only one DVI, 2 HDMI, and 2 Display Port. You can get a cable or an adapter that will connect a DVI monitor to either HDMI or Displya Port.

Corsair 600w PSU enough?

I would use this to figure that out! Im using a 750W PSU. i belive with all that i put in for my new build with this card. the calculator said i needed a 450W. its nice to have the extra space.

go google coolermaster psu calculator and it will tell you if that is enough

what is the power supply?

It has a standard 8-pin power connector (you can see it in one of the product images). The power supply should have a matching connector for it. Overall power needs will depend on the rest of your system.

is this card compatible with SLI?

There may be custom mods to make it support SLI, but this card doesn't support it out of the box.

Can this run three 3440 x 1440 monitors at once?

You could indeed do so if you are doing general tasks but the card won't be able to handle mult-monitor setups for gaming. You probably should get a GTX 1080 at least if you are doing multi-media gaming, maybe even two in SLI if all monitors are at 1440p.

I currently have a GeForce GTX 750 Ti and I'm looking to upgrade to this card my only question was if it was the same width, my case is large enough for the length just not sure about the width since I have a network adapter right under my graphics card?

T is a two slot card the bigger issue for most would be the length.  My case no problem but if you have a mid size case with the hard drive bays at end of where the GPU will be could be a problem

Can I use an 8+8 > 8+6 pin PCIE cable and just not plug in the 6 pin cable? I currently own this card and I want to get custom sleeved cables, but leave the option to upgrade to the 2080ti for when/if it comes out

i like this card and have had no problems i am a gamer, a movie watcher and i watch a ton of streams it is a little loud when the fans are turned up but I would rather keep it cool
