Does this come with fittings?

No and yes(let me explain), David. This model does not come with fittings that will allow you to connect to any existing water-loop system. You NEED to use or purchase your own G-1/4" fittings.

What it DOES come with, is 2 ASUS Owl-Eye engraved platinum chrome colored G-1/4"  plugs, with a set of plastic ASUS branded plugs(which SHOULD NOT BE USED as a substitute for regular G-1/4" plugs), which are already in place, where you would configure your set up.

Question 2

I want to water cool, however this will probably be a year or 2 after my new PC build due to costs. Would the air cooling alone with the two fans be sufficient until I get enough funds to add watercooling to my rig?

Yes Tyler, it would.

Keep in mind, that the temperature will depend on your workload/gaming use, AND screen resolution. If your using a single 1080p monitor, then you won't have any issues, even if you overclock the GPU. Depending on workload, temps should be somewhere around 40-60 degrees, on air. If you plan on using with a higher resolution, such as 1440p, then it should be around 50-70 degrees, on air. If using a 4K monitor, you'll probably start to see some temp limits, depending on heavy use, you may be hitting around the mid to upper 80's. But that would be worst case scenarios.

Either way, it's a great card because of it's flexibility of wither use of air and/or water cooling. Granted, this particular card falls slightly behind of some of the other cards with triple fans, BUT, it still does a good job at keeping temps at bay.

NOTE: I run mine under water. and OC'd to 2035Mhz, and it runs at that clock speed, continuously, with NO THERMAL THROTTLING(I got lucky with my card), and temps hover between 48-60 degrees, when gaming. I have my fans ALSO set to run when it hits 58 degrees, on the fan curve.

Does This Video Card support SLI?

It does, i have two in sli currently. It doesn't scale as well as older nvidia cards, but its still a 4k beast. I have yet to find a game i can not run on ultra 4k 60fps. It is an outstandingly overkill card setup. Honestly the jump from 1 of these to 2, is not justifiable unless you just have money burning a hole in your pocket.

how much power does this card draw?

...in addition to a more specific answer to your question, the card ALONE, will be difficult to determine  EXACTLY how many watts it pulls from the wall. The GPU power usage is more along the lines of how many volts it consumes connected to the motherboard. As an avg., the card, or any typical modern NVidia GPU, as of late, will pull around 0.65(idle) to about 1.12v(underload), depending on your settings. If you overclock the GPU and add additional voltage, then the power consumption will be dependent on those variables. But as a whole, and with my current systems, with either a basic or with some added devices to the PC setup, the card along with the system will consume about 285 to 365watts, from the wall, UNDERLOAD, depending on, and if any, overclocking settings are placed on the system. And even with an SLI setup, the system will draw around 350w to 485watts, on the average.

How many monitors does this support?

The graphics card has 2 HDMI ports, 2 DisplayPorts, and 1 DVI port. So theoretically you could have up to 5 monitors. From what I have found, the graphics card is powerful enough to support 5 monitors.

Question 6

Is it possible to run the fans while water cooling?

Yes, you can run the fans any degree of off, or on, or temperature based, with or without water cooling, using ASUS software.

Are the internal channels made from Aluminum?

I would like to confirm this as well. I have contacted Asus directly but I still haven't received an answer. I would like to think Asus wouldn't use aluminum anywhere that touches water but I have read they had in the past. I am very concerned about this. I am considering returning it for this reason.

Is this the same size pcb as a gtx 1080/70? Looking for a waterblock that will fit all 3

I would not recommend the Poseidon if you are going to remove the WB or alter the PCB. The beauty of this card is the warranty.
If you have any old 1080/1080 ti or 1070 i would go with EKWB fulll waterblock across all 3 cards, it will make your plumbing much cleaner.

Question 9

Can you use the EKWB 3-slot SLI plexi for this?

yes but you want to consider a vertical mounting solution.  Consider the Thermaltake Core P3 or P5 if you wanna use the 3 EKWB SLI water bridge.  And no...the PCIe Extender will not significantly reduce your FPS.  Just be careful to not pinch the ribbon cable.

Question 10

Do you have to have an ASUS aura mobo to adjust LEDs on GPU?

No. You need to install/download the latest version of the Aura RGB Lighting software from the ASUS website, go to the video card's Support >Driver & Tools>(SELECT your OS)>Utilities>ASUS Aura(choose the latest version),  or from the installation disk.(I would recommend the website).  The software is a stand alone program, although, the ASUS mobo does also use the same Aura software, but DOES NOT override the cards settings, unless it is Sync'd by the motherboard's settings, and you force your selections. The mobo's UI has a different look than the GPU's.
