Pros: This is a flexible miner GPU.
Cons: I had two burn up on me without even modding. Also they did not have Samsung memory, and that limited the clocking potential and hash rate to about 28 Mh/s.
Pros: very nice card, that runs everything that i need it to maxed out.
Cons: This sucker runs hot! Trying to find a full cover waterblock for it, but since is it a non-reference card my choices are limited. I have a extra fan pointed at it and the fans on the card all the way to max just about. I do experience random lockups at stock speeds with some games.
Other Thoughts: I got mine for 199 so it was a great deal, it just needs some massaging to get the temps under control.
Pros:
- Excellent performance
- Quiet
- Normally rock solid quality products from Sapphire/AMD
Cons:
- Too quiet (died)?
- Questionable reliability?
- Fluke?
Other Thoughts: This is my first (of many) Sapphire GPUs to meet an untimely demise. The GPU is simply not stable in 2 very different platforms (i5-6500 and Ryzen 1700 based systems). The GPU locks up under load. Zero OCing. In fact, underclocking doesn't alleviate the problem. Now beyond my 30 day return window with Newegg, I have initated a RMA with Sapphire.
Pros:
I work a lot with video editing I use a lot of tools that take advantage of GPU power. Video stabilization, color grading, tracking, rendering, 3d modeling, etc... are no match for the RX 480.
Now, I don't play as many games as I'd like to, but I did get origin access and playing recent games in 1080p @60fps was a cookie for this GPU. Homefront The Revolution has some of the best lighting and shadow work I've ever seen and still, this thing ran it like a cookie cake.
-AMD management software is wonderful.
Cons: It gets hot under intensive load (80°C) and the fans get noisy if you set the module to run cooler than stock. This is a must for me since I live in a hot country.
Pros: -It looks nice
Cons:
-Has 480 4 gig performance, but with 8 gigs of useless RAM that will never be utilized at 1080p.
-Only has 7ghz memory speed, most RX470's have about 7 gighz. This card is only a little faster than a 470, but for around a 480 price.
- No LED's.
Other Thoughts: Buyer beware, always make sure to read the tech specs before you buy. This card only has a 7ghz memory speed, which is on par with the 4 gig 480 models. I would suggest a 470 over this because of the lower price and similar performance.
Pros:
2 months in, no problems able to hit 100th percentile of all Rx 480s on userbenchmark, $200 best purchase I've ever made. the backplate is sexy.
I mine and play games on it and it never lets me down. matter of fact I bought ark with the btc I mined with this gpu.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: is an amazing card.
Pros:
-8GB of vram is perfect for my modded skyrim/fallout 4 games
-Pretty much maxes out every game I throw at it at 1080p
-Doesn't get hotter than 65C under full load with my custom fan curve
-Basically a steal since I got it for $200 flat on sale
-Nice looking back plate
Cons: None that I can think of.
Other Thoughts: Buyer beware, this is NOT the Nitro+ version, just the regular Nitro. There's only a few small differences such as the Nitro+ having an rgb led, the 8-pin power connector is in a different spot and the Nitro+ probably has a slightly beefier power delivery.

Pros: Very high hash rate and profitability on Ethereum. Plays games fairly well but is outcompeted by comparable NVIDIA GPUs in that realm.
Cons: The card is a bit thick so stacking them on my motherboard doesn't work.
Other Thoughts: Sapphire has always done me well.
