Hello. Is this a good upgrade from R9 290 card? I play Doom.

Yes it is, but i can't believe the asking price now. WTF?? I bought mine for less then half the price?? For Doom I was running a GTX 970 on an I7 2700k with 16 gb of ram on ultra setting without any problems. Then built a new system using that card, kinda thankful I bought it when i did, so good luck.

Yes, it supports SLI. Though I don't recommend it. You're spending money for a possibility of it being better, in theory-a 2x performace game. In practice, unless games and Nvidia optimise it, you can see one of 3 things: It boosts performance by up to 80% more It won't do anything to help performance It makes things worse And even with optimization, it's actually not that much better
