? I have a seagate free agent pro .. it has a problem and im trying to use it with this product to convert sata to usb so i can still use the hard drive is this product compatable

This does not convert SATA to USB, this allows a smaller 2.5 inch SSD to be mounted inside a 3.5 inch carrier that will mount in a standard 3.5 inch drive slot in a desktop chassis. If your Seagate whatever has a SATA drive, and you want to use the drive as a USB-accessible drive, then you need a case that offers an internal SATA interface(inside the case, this means SATA data and power connectors) and has an external USB connector. This would be a case replacement for your Seagate whatever. You can lookup the specs for your Seagate whatever and match it with a newegg equivalent.
