So I have heard about different situations with PSU and people on the internet appear to have major issues with RAIDMAX. So my question is: Where are more extensive reviews of this PSU? Also, other than price, why should I buy this unit and in what way should I be worried if there are issues with it internally? Based on the reviews, there seem to be little to no issues with the product, but there are still plenty of people on forums that encourage other sources for PSU.

Well unfortunately I haven't gotten all the stuff I need to build the computer I bought this psu for so I can't answer to much about it . However if u are worried about it not working then look at the return/ exchange policy. Once I get more money coming back in tho I fully intend to buy a few of these for the computers im building for my family members and a few to sell.hope that helps.also look at a psu calculator to make sure u get the right size psu for what u need.some are different dementions or watts (demention for case,and watts for the components you intend to hook up)

a couple reviews said the mobo cables might be abit short, any one have an exact measurement?

They are 25" tip to tip, so the wire is 24". I didnt have any issues with cable length in my large tower.
