ATX12V v2.0 Compatible Compatible with the ATX12V v2.0 standard, the Thermaltake Purepower W0100RU power supply provides maximum power stability to drive the latest Intel and AMD processors as well as other components for desktop and entry-level sever computer systems.
500W Maximum Power A maximum power of 500W delivers safe, reliable output for high-end computer systems.
120mm Silent Cooling Fan The Thermaltake Purepower W0100RU features a 120mm silent cooling fan for increased overall airflow and heat dissipation in the power supply enclosure.
Pros: Great airflow, lots of well made connectors that reach all the way to the bottom of a ful tower case.
Cons: --
Other Thoughts: Had this in my system for many years through many acc. configs. plugs still fit tightly. Recently had to upgrade my PS for new cpu so I put it into a system I built for my GF, I expect it to last as long for her as it did for me.
Pros: I have had this PSU in various builds for over 8 years and its still going strong. Its currently being used to power a bedroom PC used for netflix, youtube and the like.
Cons: None that I can find.
Other Thoughts: Too bad Thermaltake doesn't make PSUs like this anymore. They make OK PSUs these days, but you're better off with SeaSonic.
Pros: Lasted 9 years! Awesome value.
Cons: It was a little louder than I would have liked.
Pros: Worked good for 4 years. It is retired from service
Cons: none
Pros: heavy, good quality, lots of connections, price
Cons: n/a
Other Thoughts: I normally use corsair, antec, or enermax, but this one was a pleasant surprise
Pros: Good initial appeal, good cable managements for airflow
Cons: According to the ATX specification the voltage range in the power rails can suffer from a deflection of up to 10% and still be considered within the limits of tolerance. Ideally, one would expect that a higher grade and good brand of power supply to very close to the specifications. But it turned out that it is not the case with this Thermaltake W0100RU 500W PSU, the power rail on the 3.3V pin is outputting close to 3.7V which beyond the limits of tolerances (a min. of 2.97V, a max. of 3.66V) which then can cause more system instability, malfunction, and stress on hardware components.
Comments: I hope I'm not wrong.

Pros: - Long lasting!
- Compatible with most ATX mobo/cases/PC parts
- Professional, nice look
- Many various power connectors
Cons: - Few too many power connectors, a little messy to organize
Other Thoughts: I've had this for over 10 years and it's lasted through many upgrades, including ALL parts(Mobo/CPU, several video cards, tower, and a few hard drives)
The power connectors are all wrapped in a black mesh, it looks great, even up until now.
This has been an incredibly durable and highly valuable purchase. I never realized how amazing this would be and how long-lasting it would be when I bought it so long ago!
