With the highest number of cables of any power supplies in its class, this 600 watt power supply also has a new environmentally friendly design. SLI ready, it's proofed against the next couple of generations of new system tech,
A 120 mm, sleeve bearing fan ensures effective cooling and noise reduction. It also features Universal Input, which along with ATX12V v2.2 and EPS12V compliancy ensures that you can use it in a variety of situations and almost everywhere, without worrying about input voltages. Your SST-ST60F is designed to last, with its MTBF (Mean Time Before Failure) of 100,000+ hours.
Industrial grade components ensure stable and unflappable output, and protection against power and voltage surges. It comes with one Main connector (20 + 4 pin), one 12V (P4), one 12V (8pin), one Floppy, one AUX power, four peripheral, two PCI-E, and SATA connectors. It also sports four next generation +12V rails (12V1, 12V2, 12V3, 12V4), which allow support for the most high-end of PC systems. This PSU is more than ready to power whatever it finds in your system!
ATX12V and EPS12V Compatible Compatible with the ATX12V and EPS12V standards, the SILVERSTONE SST-ST60F provides maximum power stability to drive the latest Intel and AMD processors as well as other components for desktop and entry-level sever computer systems.

Modular Cable Design The modular cable design allows use of only the cables you need resulting in improved internal airflow and reduced system clutter.
Quiet Operation An intelligent 120mm fan delivers whisper-quiet cooling and ensures quiet operation through fan speed adjustments in response to load conditions.
NVIDIA SLI Certified The SILVERSTONE SST-ST60F has gone through a series of rigorous NVIDIA SLI certification tests for maximum system stability when building NVIDIA SLI PCs.
Pros: Modular - Less clutter in the case.
Cons: Died yesterday - Lasted 6 months longer than the 3yr warranty.
Other Thoughts: Replaced with ULTRA ULT-LSP650 LIFETIME Warranty.
Pros: Owned for almost 3 years, had to replace a fan once because it was dirty as hell (my fault). The power supply has never randomly rebooted, never failed in any way shape or form. Thats what you look for with a power supply; not pretty cables, or shiny casing. Those things you can see before you purchase the product. And if they are not up to your standards, you are a moron for buying it. A review is a customers measurement of a manufacturers follow through on their promised parameters of operation.
Cons: BIG, but i knew that before i bought it, so i won't take off an egg for it (see how the system works?)
Other Thoughts: I read a decent number of the reviews for this product and can honestly say that most people who bashed it have no idea how to judge a power supply. it is the most important part in the computer because it can kill every other part! if you get a DOA product, that doesn't mean that the product should get 1 egg. That is one instance of an entire product line. Being an engineer, i know that flukes are completely unavoidable. If you buy the wrong accessory cables and cannot find the replacements, the product should not get 1 egg, thats your fault.
Pros: Modular design
Cons: Very noisy, and only gets more so over time.
Pros: nice price, modular, 600w bronze,
Cons:
well my fan has started to make a noise.
i.e. the bearing has gone out.
have not try to get a rma yet. need to replace the PS before i have to send it off and not have one for a month.
the fan is a 135 mm one, and newegg does not carry one.
if they did i would replace it.
! but replacing anything in a PS is should not to be done by the untrained !
the sticker " danger high voltage " does mean it
Other Thoughts:
well, i just wounder if the other 2 sst will die in the next 2-5 months also.
is this a trend ?
i do not want to find out. will not buy a SS again
Pros: Modular design.
Cons:
Makes hissing noise.
Died exactly after 1 year of use. Have to pay shipping costs to send it for repairs. Won't cross-ship.
Other Thoughts: This PSU is way overpriced for what you get.
Pros: QUIET, cabling is intelligent and easy to manage for maximizing air flow inside case. First time buying something from Silverstone other than fans, I am very impressed. It appears Silverstone makes excellence a priority in all their products.
Cons: Zero
Other Thoughts: The concept of the 24 pin being modular was a major plus and along with its positioning on the side of the power supply closest to the back wall of the computer case was a major in my decision to try this product, now that I have it, I am totally satisfied.
Pros: Modular design. Solid build. Quiet. Extremely stable.
Cons: Haven't found any yet.
Other Thoughts:
Used Short Cable kit.

Pros: - Compact design
- Black satin finish
- Modular cables
- Reasonable performance
- Decent internals.
- Fan is a standard 120mm unit that's easy to replace (either splice wires or use a 3 pin to 2 pin adapter).
Cons: Original died 6 months after purchase.
Replacement's fan died twice.
Other Thoughts: This is a followup review from my original 2-star review back in 2008. I've had unit #2 for 6 years and its still going. In light of the second unit's long life and reliable performance (cooling fan notwithstanding), I felt it deserved a better rating.
