Will this work with the new skylake processors?

There is no reason why it wouldn't work unless the connection to your motherboard was not 20+4 Pin.

So I so far love this power supply. Its stable and very quiet and I have no other issues than one question that may not be a big issue. When I turn on the computer I hear a tick noise and I again when I turn it off. Its not a loud sound like flipping a switch but like a sharp mouse click. Only when I turn it on and off other than that there is no other noise other than when power switches on and off. Is that a normal protection mechanism of the power supply?

I've been running that supply for over 6 months now. No clicks. No noises like that. Not even when I power it down and up completely with the rocker switch on the supply itself.

I was looking at a new Asus Z170M motherboard and checked the qualified vendors list. There was not a rosewill powersupplly on it. Is this power supply compatible with the ASUS Z170M-PLUS?

I just completed a build with an Asus Sabertooth Z97 Mark 1 and the Capstone_G750. Starting the second week with new build, so far, so good. Also used this psu with an Asrock Z77 OC Formula. About three years of use and all is still well. I know the Z170 chipset is new, so maybe you can run your build through pcpartpicker and check for compatibility. Good Luck.
