Your case states that it fits a standard ps2 power supply. the definition of a standard ps 2 power supply = ATX sized power supply. This is an atx sized power supply.

I've worked on Dell's extensively.   They are proprietary computers only many of their part replacements.  But in the case of power supplies contemporary Dell computers will take any power supply that you replace the original with as long as the basic connections are compatible and in most cases they are, and the wattage is at least as high if not higher than the original.

Hi, I have a estimated 329W build on PCPartPicker w/ an i5 7500 and RX 480. Should this work with my build, or should I go for a more expensive PSU?

I used the EVGA with EVGA 750 ti, and older 9800 gtx and the psu was perfect. However, just looking at the power requirement of the RX480 makes me think you should go with a more powerful psu, EVGA 750 probably. The 500 B1 was perfect with the 750 TI, an I5, and 500gb SSD, 16gb RAM, An 2 20in monitors, Win 10 PRO x64. Instant boot and program execution.

Can mount either top or bottom if (but depends on if your case has a mounting spot in those areas). Just make sure the large circular fan is pointed toward the interior of the case.

It should be OK since it is a good brand. Minimum requirement for the 960 is a 400watt power supply but I would recommend you get a 650watt incase you want to upgrade in the future. 500watts is somewhat limiting.

Will this power supply be able to handle the gigabyte gtx660 3gb version?

I believe it will, but i am not certain, I used it to run a 3.2 GHZ AMD dual core processor in a Billy box, running an AMD 6870 graphics card.

This was used to upgrade an existing Gateway computer to extend it's usable life, as in CPU, GPU, which required more PSU!

As to the unit, it is very well built and seems to run very well in keeping with it's electrical schematics.
