Pros: Still works till this day, never had any problems, it's been running almost every day since 2008. I've ran some pretty hard stress tests for days at a time and this thing was pumping out a bit of heat and it just keeps on going strong. I hope I'm not going to jinx myself by writing this review but it's such a good power supply and I wish they still made them like this.
Cons: I don't think they make this PSU anymore. I think it was pretty expensive back when I bought it, not really a con because it's still running good.
Pros:
Longest lasting power supply I have ever owned
Durable and sturdy, I've never had a single hiccup with it
8 1/2 years and still going strong
No modular cabling
Cons: None. Some have mentioned the lack of modular cabling as a con, but I consider that a plus.
Other Thoughts:
I realize there's really not much point in making this review, since the power supply is off the market forever (unless you pick up a second-hand used one, which I would highly recommend if you get the chance). I'm mostly posting this because I want to show my gratitude to the engineers who designed this beast of a PSU. I bought this 10/17/2008 and it has been running 24/7/365 ever since (almost 8 years, 5 months to the day).
Despite living in an area without the best power, despite having a few occasions of the power getting abruptly shut off while it's running and despite it's extended age, this power supply has never once failed me or disappointed me. If there's any downside to it, that alone would be it, because the lifespan of this means the company didn't get as much revenue from replacements and thus got bought out.
Even though it's still working, I'm finally replacing it (I bought a Seasonic 80+ Titanium 650WT that I hope will last me just as long), not because there's anything wrong with this PSU, but because I wanted a brand new one for my Ryzen build. In spite of that, this PSU will still live on in this system, as I'm going to sell it exactly as it is. Who knows, maybe it will last the new owner another 8 1/2 years. I know I certainly wouldn't be surprised.
In way, I almost feel like I'm giving up an old friend. I guess that makes this my farewell.
Pros: Bought this in 2008. It lasted for 7 1/2 years of sixteen hour per day operation. My ups showed this psu was starting to spike badly so it was time to replace it. Longest lasting power supply in continuous usage I've ever owned.
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: Replaced with an EVGA G2. Let's see if it lasts as long.
Pros: 6.5 years later and still working beautifully. I love this PSU (and the PP&C brand). Quiet as a mouse and as powerful as I need it to be. I've put this PSU through a lot, including an accidental soda spill (stupid, yes, I know), but it's still chugging along with no signs of failing.
Cons: The only con of this PSU is the fact that it isn't modular, but I knew that going in. Make sure your case is big enough to accommodate all the connections.
Other Thoughts: I do not regret this purchase. Worth every penny that I spent on it. I'm not sure how PP&C's quality is now after the two acquisitions, but I would absolutely buy this PSU again.
Pros: Silent and powerful.
Cons: Not modular. But at that time modular system is not common.
Other Thoughts: It's been more than 8 years with my system. I exchanged whole system from 775 to amd but it's still silent and powerful. Best PSU.
Pros:
I have had this for almost 10 years on several different computers, all overclocked, all water cooled, all gaming designed computers running about 16 hours a day (last 5 years).
Timex must have made this thing because it takes a licking and keeps on ticking.
OCZ bought them out in 2007 I think and now they have been sold to Toshiba America .
Quality product without question, a business model that all PC manufactures should strive for!
Cons: Not one, except I'm scared to replace it...
Other Thoughts: The PSU is the heart and soul of any computer.
Pros: My first ever PSU. PC Power and Cooling aren't around anymore but they are the staple for Quality made products. Had this since 2008. Ran quiet as hell since its the silencer series. I ran everything at this psu and it just took it like champ and ask for more. Never once had an issue with it and when i built a pc for my brother this went into it about a few years ago. It's still running and powering current gen products with ease. 10/10 would buy again. Ty PC power and Cooling, you will be missed.
Cons: None at all.
Other Thoughts: I put this thing through extreme conditions. When I lived with my grandma I turned her garage into a Lan for my friends and I. There was no insulation in there so when it was blazing hot outside, it felt like it was doubled on the inside. When it was freezing temperature out, 4 feet of snow, it was like a freezer in there. We did this every day for years. It always powered on, and always delivered. I really cant say enough good things about this PSU. It will break my heart if and when it does actually die, but its still thriving to this day in my brothers system. It's a trooper and a testament to this company. I freaking love you guys. You all should be proud of your work here in this psu.

Pros: extremely high quality. provided excellent power for multiple builds over years.
Cons: at times I struggled with connectors for modern GPUs.
