No, it does not.  But the sata of cables or cheap today. I need motherboard sometimes come with them. I gigabyte  motherboard came with two sata cables

Would this work with my Vostro 410?

Yes, it will. Bear in mind you won't get the best speeds from your machine, as (per Dell's specs) it has the earlier SATA 150 bus, not the faster SATA 300. BUT, that said, the performance boost will seem AMAZING once you move to a Solid State Drive from a platter HDD. Plenty of free cloning software out there (I'd recommend Macrium Reflect, it does the job, no hassles-Check CNET). Enjoy the speed boost!! And if you can bump up the RAM in your rig, it will just add to the performance increase.

what else do I need to install this in my computer?

You won't need to purchase anything else to install in a 2.5-inch space. If, however, you are trying to install in a 3.5-inch space, in a desktop computer, rather than a laptop computer, you may need a mounting bracket for your particular desktop.

Aside from a bracket, what do I need in order to install the SSD? A SATA cable, I think, but I my biggest weakness when it comes to computer parts is cables, so I don't really know much about what the aforementioned SATA cable is. Does it have any specific requirements, or do I just plug it in into my motherboard and the drive(the cable)? Are there several types of SATA cables or just one?

There is no special requirement other than it being a standard SATA/SATA2/SATA3 data (signal) cable.  However you should determine how long a cable you'll need to reach from the SATA port on your motherboard to the SATA connector on the SSD once it's in place.  Also decide if a cable with both connectors "straight" is satisfactory or if you need one connector to be either "right-angle" or "left-angle" (they really are different) to fit in the space available.  Finally, I like locking connectors but they are not required and you may find that a cable with non-locking connectors is suitable.  I'd stay away from the "round" cables and stick with the "flat" ones.

Will this work with a Mid 2012 Macbook Pro 13" ?

I was never able to get it to work.  The motherboard would not recognize the ssd.  New egg would not respond.  Sorry.
