Rock Solid Memory

Pros: Ran 4 sticks of this in my M2N-SLI deluxe motherboard with an Athlon X2 6000+ for 10 years. Most stable PC I have ever built, sadly the motherboard seems to have finally died but I think the ram is still good.

Cons: Low capacity for newer apps/operating systems.

Other Thoughts: I hope the new G. Skill memory I bought for my new build has the performance and longevity that these did.

Suprelative product!

Pros: As you would expect from G.Skill, an easy to setup and install product. Helped give more life to an older system. Bios picked it up with no worries, system performance much smoother.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: I have found G.Skill memory to be the easiest to work with, reliable, and best overall value.

Still going strong after 8 years

Pros: -Easy to install.
-GSkill Quality.
-Have installed many of these in other clients computers and have had zero issues. No BSOD's caused by memory, no errors caused by memory.

Cons: -None.

Other Thoughts: I would definitely recommend these if you need DDR2 PC2 6400 RAM.

Pros: Good latency/timing.

Cons: Voltage is a little low for overclocking.
Pricey considering this is basically 10 year old RAM technology.

Other Thoughts: I bought this to give my old setup a little more performance. I a beginner at overclocking and didn't realize how important RAM voltage can be when trying to overclock. I would have looked for something with higher voltage capability. My old Corsair DDR2 800 is capable of 2.1V.

Thank you for your G.Skill purchase and review. Glad to hear the memory is working well in your system. Low Voltage is actually a good thing for overclocking. A lower Voltage means you have more headroom to increase Voltage to attempt an overclock. In some cases a RAM rated at a higher Voltage may not overclock as well since it already requires a high Voltage to operate at a normal frequency/timing, For example, if your other DDR2-800 kit has timings of CL5 and requires 2.10V, it is inferior to this kit since this RAM only requires 1.80V to operate at the same specs.
