Question 1

i see: most of of the z170 motherboards - they don't have this kit in their QVL memory compatibility list provided by the manufacturers... could anyone suggest a z170motherboard most compatible to be used for this kit? or what MB are You using for this kit Yourself?

I purchased this set for a brand new build on the ASUS z170-WS board and it worked perfectly, no issues whatsoever.  Was fully recognized the first time I booted the machine and haven't had any issues.  I am a motion graphic design and heavy 3D rendering so wanted something fast and reliable.

The manual didn't show support for it either but still runs well.  Have it running smooth at 3000 without any issues, haven't tried pushing it further but probably could.

Hello, is this by default a Black+Red (KW) or Silver+White (SW) kit?

Mine are Charcoal Grey & Red like the picture. In a dimly lit computer case, they look Black & Red.

Question 3

Is this kit available in a black/yellow color scheme? If not, can I buy the black/yellow heat spreaders separately and replace the ones on this kit? I asked this question on the g.skill forums but didn't get an answer from anyone at g.skill. Hopefully a g.skill representative can answer this question b/c I am considering this kit for a black/yellow themed new pc build.

The top plastic part with color is replaceable easily.

The silver heat sink part is not supposed to be replaceable. It has adhesive on it. While yo could technically remove it, it might pull your memory chips off in the process, thus killing the stick.
