Question 1

I have this on my b250 motherboard. Now I'm having  issues with blue screens crashing. I think this is optimized with z170 platform only.I tried reinstalling OS twice already. Is it possible this isn't compatible with my mobo?

I would run a memory scanner like memtest86 to see if you got a bad stick. If your motherboard support DDR4 ram it should work.  I was using this with a b150 mobo before I upgraded.

will this work with a  RYZEN 7 X1700?

Works in my Dell Inspiron 5675 with Ryzen 5 1400 but because there are no bios options  the memory speed is set to 2133 instead of 2400 with Dell memory.  This memory only supports 2400 with Intel or motherboard with adjustable settings, not with Dell.  Motheboard must support XMP.  Mine needs memory that supports 2400 speed with JEDEC, and this does not support 2400 JEDEC.

I asked Gskill before I purchased the memory and they said it was compatible with Ryzen Dell 5675, which is, but it slows the system down by about 5%.
