Yes, I have same computer (mid 2011 model), and use this memory.  Apple says 8 GB is the max supported for this computer, but I've had this installed 6 months with flawless performance.

Maybe but probably not. It's not the right speed and Apple officially supports only two 4 GB sticks. People have had success putting higher density faster RAM in some Mac models but I don't think I would chance it.

Officially the suggested RAM is two of the PC8500 DDR3 1066 MHz 204 pin SO-DIMM modules.

I have an early 2011 13" MacBook Pro and want to increase memory to 16gb from 4gb.  Is that possible or I am limited to 8gb in memory?

It is possible. I have late 2011 MBP 17'' and did the upgrade.

Something to note, I had problems with Yosemite upgrade and became one of the many victims for graphic card, motherboard failures. They replaced it all and removed my 16GB ram. However it should be fixed with recent updates of the software. I never had an issue with the upgrade since 2013.

I don't see why not, but it doesn't say it's garuanteed to work according to newegg. Check with Corsair and make sure it meets the specs of your Mac Mini, such as clock speed and voltage under about this Mac and more info or similiar.

I have an MacBook (13-in, Aluminum, Late2008). When I got it I upgraded it to 4gbs of ram. I'm trying to stretch out the life of this laptop. My friend has this model and recently put 16gigs in. way beyong the recommended amount. has anyone put this amount of ram into their old macbook? I'd like to hear about it.

I have, yes, and it destabilized the system.  Random restarts, corruption of large image files.  Took the laptop for repairs and there were a number of other problems with it, and they swapped out the 16 gigs for generic 4 gigs and returned the 16 gig cards.  Upgraded the operating system (Mavericks), put the 16 gigs back in and the same exact problems developed again ... random restarts, corruption of large image files.  Not sure if I got a bad set of cards or if the system simply really can't handle 16 gigs.  I have a late 2011 15-inch MacBook Pro, which also suffers from the video defect Apple just admitted to, which might also be responsible for the problems.  Proceed with caution.

This works in my 13" 2011 2.3 GHz Intel Core i5 Macbook Pro, Model A1278, with 320GB HD.  So it should work in yours, just be sure to run a memory test immediately after install.  You access the hardware menu by holding "Option+D" when booting and run a memory test.
