This DDR4 memory WILLNOT work in the Z77 board- this board requires DDR3 memory. Max memory for this board is 32GB of DDR3 (different speeds are supported of DDR3 memory though!)

Can the Vengeance stickers be removed?

theyre like bubble stickers, you could conceivably remove them but that little trapezoid is set back into the heatsink a little bit so it wouldnt be smooth across there if thats what your looking for

The official tech specs on the manufacturer's site does not indicate if this kit is tested to work with Ryzen, let alone Threadripper.  There is a chance it will work but it is not guaranteed, I would maybe consider the kit provided below.  Hope this helps!

Why is this more expensive than the 2x8 gb one?

As Mr. D Said it is a matched set of 4  which will allow you to fill all 4 memory slots on your motherboard providing 16GB of memory total.  If you were to buy 4 of the 2 x 8  you could fill all 4 slots and have comparable functionality but the maximum speed of the memory settings may be harder to achieve since they are sold in pairs of 2 instead of pairs of 4 and therefore would not be a matched set.  If you see an upgrade to move memory in the future, personally I would go with the 2 x 8's but if not I would get the 4x4's and populate all memory slots on the motherboard.  One advantage is the fact that you have 4 sticks of memory to troubleshoot with instead of 2. I am running 3 sets of the 4x4's in 3 different computers and they all have performed well without issues for the past several years

I'm assuming you are asking about the i7-5930k and if so yes, this kit would be fine it's the motherboard you'd be looking at for compatibility in most cases. However there are only 3 consumer grade processors out right now even use DDR4 ram so most everything works with whats out there right now.
