how to control the RGB colors?

Im pretty sure it it, but just to make sure, is this compatible with ryzen, specifically the 7 1800x?

I would check comparability with whatever MB you're getting first. I bought it for my 2400g setup and it's working fine @2800mhz although had to enable it through xmp. Running it at 2999mhz would most of the time at some point make it crash. I'm sure I could get it stable but I'm happy with it running at 2800.

Not quite sure what you're asking, but the LEDs aren't just red. They are controlled using Corsair's software and do a number of colors and patterns. The modules are C16, not C15.

Does it work with Gigabyte z170 RGB motherboards?

Hello J. Schmidt, According to Corsair's product page at the URL I provided below, it states it officially supports 100,200, and 300 series boards from Intel. So yes, your particular board should have no problem with the memory working but the RGB function needs to be controlled through the RGB software that was made for your board. What is this compatible with -- i.e. Z370, etc? That should be mentioned on the description, right? Or am I missing something? I will have to look it up elsewhere.
