Is it this memory compatible with iMac Mini?

Umm, technically if by memory you mean this hard drive then yes, it will and will not fit in your mac mini.  I believe the mac mini came with a 3.5" drive, so this would fit in there fine, it would be a bit more snug if you got the conversion kit to up size this drive to a 3.5" size but it will work.

Although the newer mac mini's some of them also use the laptp 2.5" drives so then it would fit in perfectly.

Again assuming you are looking to upgrade the HARD DRIVE and not the memory.

Will this drive fit in an ultra book?

While Ultra books are a bit tight fitting it should fit. What model do you have? It does make a deference as some ultra books are not easy to work on, even for replacing a hard drive.
Good choice on the SSD it is fast reliable and uses less power and produces much less heat all pluses.

Is this Kingston model the same as HP V300A (240GB too)?
However the V300A costs quite more.
In short is this SSD or any similar size compatible with HP Envy 17t-j000 I just bought? Thanks.

There are only two differences between these drives.
1. The KINGSTON writes max @ 510mb/s while the HP writes max @ 520mb/s. This would not be enough for me to justify paying more.
2. The KINGSTON is $40 cheaper and had excellent reviews when I purchased them. The computer you purchased is new. Either one should be compatible. I'm running mine in a pc, so I can't say with 100 percent certainty. Hope this helps.

Yes. I have one of them in a Dell XPS M1730 from 2006. Fits perfectly. Just make sure that your Laptop has Sata Connectors not IDE.

How long has anyone had this (or any) SSD last? The reason I ask is because regardless of how good of a review it gets, they only seem to last for a period of 8 to 14 months at best.

I bought my first one 3 years ago this month and still running strong.  A check with Chrystal Disk shows that I have only consumed 14% of the life on it also.  I have probably sold 250 of these and have only had one legitimately go bad.  Had two others that dropped out of a RAID 6 array (different arrays at different times) but the drives still work great.  I have used and seen a lot of different SSDs and this is the only one that I buy now.  Very happy with them, just wish they had larger ones.

I just put this in my current pc build and acronis drive monitor is giving me a warning that the drive is running at 212  degrees F. as soon as the pc starts up, however there are not any other errors whatsoever. anyone else have this problem?

I would think that your software is incorrect. at 212 degrees f the drive would already be damaged. Please check you Sata power connector voltages against the Drive required voltages to make sure that it is with in tolerances. If yes the software is not compatible with this SSD.

I have a question on cloning. I originally purchased a Dell Windows 7 computer and then subsequently upgraded to Win 8.1 pro. Under disk management, I see there partitions on my C:\ drive namely: a) OEM Partition (39 MB), b) Recovery Partition, and c) OS C:\ partition. Since my computer has gone through several changes since I bought it in 2012 including the Win 8.1 upgrade, what is the need for cloning, if any, the OEM Partition and Recovery Partition. Would it not be better to ONLY clone the “OS c:\  partition” (which presumably has the O/S, all my programs and files) and then create a new recovery partition after cloning?

If you break the partition structure definitely make sure you have a backup of the way it was before doing so, you might render the system unusable if you don't clone those OEM/Recovery partitions.

Furthermore, unless you burned a rescue DVD off the computer after buying it, those partitions are your only way of reinstalling windows from scratch.

I personally would burn Windows 8.1 Pro full install DVD and use that to start fresh with the new SSD. Nothing beats a fresh install, but cloning makes it easy, so I wouldn't worry too much unless you really need the space those partitions occupy.
