does this mouse suck????

no I actually really enjoy this mouse I bought it thinking it would last me a month till I bought a razer but I have kept it for at least nine months now. I play alot of first person shooters and I can say this is a great gaming mouse. The two buttons on the side are also extremely helpful if you map them to things such as the chat button or your primary weapon.

Can you use a custom dpi? say 1200 dpi? or can you only use 3 default dpi settings?

You can customize the dpi, but to do so you must first complete a series of increasingly difficult riddles. Once you have vanquished this challenge, you must summit multiple consecutive rounds of Pong against an AI that is not only programmed to react perfectly to your returns, but to also learn and improve its strategy based on your movements. In some instances it is known to "play down" to your level, drawing out the competition in a perverted display of PC dominance over the human intellect. Overall a good mouse, I find it comfortable. Just use the default DPIs. Be well.

Does the scroll wheel have a continuous scroll feeling or indexed clicks?

indexed, as you say. you'll feel (and hear, if you're really going at it) each stop, but not in a jarring way.
