This keyboard makes me question my beliefs. 08/05/2009
This review is from: Logitech K740 Illuminated USB Keyboard
Pros:
I don't know what deity works over at Logitech, but this keyboard is simply the best I've ever had the pleasure to touch.
The buttons are just the right right travel length (slightly longer than pure laptop style) and they don't take much pressure to push (slightly heavier than laptop style I suppose, but not much), but they still have that definite "click" when it bottoms out. So you're not wondering whether or not you actually pushed the keys like with some other light-touch keyboards.
The lighted button feature is nice, but I generally don't notice it except for at night when I first enter the room and the lights happen to be off.
This is a rare high quality slim keyboard that also actually has the full standard key layout (rather than the compressed laptop style).
I didn't think I would like the wrist rest, they're usually quite uncomfortable for me, but it's actually better than what I'm used to.
Cons:
-Aesthetically I don't like the clear edged rim. (I'm glad they didn't make that glow, phew)
Overall Review:
The tiny feet in the back seem cheep, but they're actually actually quite sturdy despite they're diminutive size.
And Logitech said, "Let there be light" and there was light.... wait, wait that's not right is it?
