This review is from: ZALMAN CNPS9700 LED 110mm 2 Ball CPU Cooler

Pros:

Installed on a Phenom II X4 965. Idles at 30 and rerely gets over 40 playing GTA IV on max settings. My stock AMD cooler idled at 45 and was hitting 65-70 playing games. Huge improvment. Very quiet, can barely hear it run.

Cons:

I do have to take 2 eggs away for the poor Zalman customer service. My cooler was missing the fan controller and the controller cable. I did not RMA to Newegg because it was not a defect and opted to contact Zalman to see if I can get a replacment cable and controller. I have heard nothing back after 2 emails, and have been unable to reach anyone by phone because of super long hold times.
I ended up plugging it directly into the mobo, but the fan runs at full speed all the time, which I don't need web surfing or playing Freecell.

Overall Review:

There are lots of sharp edges and this is one huge cooler so installing with the mobo in is a chore. I was able to mount mine facing the rear of the case so my rear exhaust fan can help pull the heat out.
I have a GIGABYTE GA-770TA-UD3 mobo and cooler did not interfere with memory slots, video card or mobo screws. The cooler clip was a bit tight to the chipset heatsink though.
