Pros:
Setup was easy. I was able to bring up a RAID 5 array very quickly. Software installed easily on a Win03 box. Extended the life of an HP G4 ML370.
Cons:
The battery heats quickly. We were having AC problems in our data center shortly after the install and the software notified that the battery was over heating. Since the AC has been fixed, no problem.
Overall Review:
I am using this controller with the Addonics 5SA RAID cage. I have one drive as a cold spare.
