only charges 4S to 50%, takes forever to recharge 02/05/2012
This review is from: PHILIPS DLP2277/17 iPhone/iPod Attachable Battery Pack & Charging Base
Pros:
It works... but barely 50% of the iphones built in capacity
Cons:
However given its bulk, long charge time and initial cost I expected to get 100% plus equivalent capacity of the built-in iphone battery. Unfortunately it only recharges about 50% of the iphone's battery capacity so disappointing capacity in that regard.
However it is very low capacity and takes many hours to fully recharge - go figure.
I do like that it works with the case still on the iPhone. and will let you recharge your iphone with a mini-USB cable so if you don't have our iphone cable with you it lets you use a more common cable most people have laying around.
Still it is clear to me why this thing only costs sixteen bucks now - that's about what its worth, but no more than that IMHO.
