Pros:
- I love the button layout of this mouse, very easy to find the button you're looking for
- Very responsive
- Onboard memory storage of programming so you can game w/o the software running in the background (also great for taking to LAN party where you only want to take your mouse with) - no installation required. (You have to save the profile config to the mouse before this is possible)
- Very sturdy construction
- Any button can be reassigned to keystroke/macro(including basic right and left mouse buttons) - I know not a common need but I've run into games where this would be helpful.
Cons:
- Firmware Upgrade - after the first attempt it said it had completed successfully but no responce from the mouse, had to unplug my mouse and plug it back in again and run the firmware upgrade again in order to actually complete a successful upgrade.
- Programing GUI isn't the most intuitive thing, however once you understand how to use it, it works just fine.
Overall Review:
- As stated previously, even though the software package for this mouse isn't very intuitive and the firmware upgrade seems a bit buggy, gameplay wise this is the best mouse I've ever used and expect to be using this model for the next 5+ years.
- Because of how sturdy this mouse is constructed, it has a good amount of weight to it (A pro for me)
- My cost of this mouse after rebate was $35
