Great Camera Poor Shipping

Pros:
This camera is the best performing 5D currently. It will do anything you need as long as you know what you are doing. I needed a full frame camera as my business has grown and my 50D was aging. I was not looking to get this but when I received a 20% off promo, I checked all other websites to see if the price had dropped and it had not. So I jumped on the offer as it was a very good business decision. Been playing with it and I made a good choice, a camera that will last tech wise for 5 years.
Cons:
The reason for the 1 egg, is because shipping. I received the box that was 4 times the size of the product. When I picked it up the product inside the box slide till it hit the sidewall. I then opened up the box to reviled one 8 inch piece of packing paper (newspaper would have been thicker) so basicly the product was slamming around in this overside non correctly packaged box. If this was a cable or other non power or breakable item I would be fine, however a $3500 camera packaged like this, shame on the person and the quality control dept. for allowing this, and believe my its not one person that does this, this is the company that allows it to happen. I should have known as last year I ordered a hard drive and same thing, big box no packaging. I was hoping that it was resolved but I guess not. I first made sure the camera was working and so far no issues, I am worried that it might have to go into repair sooner than normal because of the way it was shipped to me. So I will just cross my fingers.
Overall Review:
I would not buy a lens from Newegg because of this exact issue, I am not alone here with the shipping issues, and why they don't correct it is beyond me, or its just the old way to save a dollar and just take back what breaks, in my option how much more does it cost to use the correct size box and maybe 4 times as much paper or bubble packing, thats all it would take. My company uses a off site shipping system also and had these types of issues in the beginning, since we have corrected such shipping issues and have less return issues as it arrives correct the first time.
