Disappointed with Logitech

Pros:
It's a wireless mouse with a good feel and hyper fast scrolling.
Cons:
The tracking! Oh, the tracking! It is terrible. I've read a few articles online about how to tweak the tracking to work. Mostly by using a silicon pad or teflon tape. I haven't tried any of this yet, I've just been using my old mouse.
The mouse could not track on my mouse pad, so I put it directly on the hard wood desk. It tracks slightly better, but it is still unusable. I am using the mouse only for the scroll wheel right now, which is not ideal at all.
Overall Review:
I've favored Logitech for a long time, and have generally had very good success with their products. This mouse is a very poor representation of the brand.
