This review is from: ASUS PCE-N15 300Mbps Wireless-N Network Adapter, PCI-E interface, Full Height and Low Profile bracket, WPS button Support
Pros:
As stated before, it works like i'd expect it to -- On regular browsing. Also, it was easy to install.
Cons:
The real problem with this thing is that it makes gaming utterly impossible. It will maintain a connection in the first few seconds of when you launch a game, but will completely shut off when you get into a multiplayer match. As soon as you come back to the desktop with the game minimized, it will snap back to connection and be ready to go. But as soon as you get back to the game, it quits again. It's very annoying and disheartening. No drivers are available to fix the problem, and the antennae are both oriented directly in the direction of the router, which is less than 20 feet away (with some walls in the way). Now, you might thing that the router having walls in the way blocks some of the signal, which it does, but my cell phone and tablet both connect fine from the same posistion.
Overall Review:
I'm disappointed. I wouldn't recommend this to an enemy... Okay, that's a lie, but it's the way I feel.
