Fan Died 10/23/2013
This review is from: MASSCOOL 8W2002B1M4 90mm Ball Bearing CPU Cooler for INTEL Socket LGA 1155/1156 Cooper base
Pros:
When it worked, it worked well.
Cons:
Fan died after about 6 months of usage. That being said, I was folding 24/7 so the fan, once installed, was never shut off – until its untimely demise. I liked the rest of the HS so much that I replaced the dead fan with an old fan I had on hand. Two minor modifications with the Dremel and BAM, back in business.
Overall Review:
2 eggs because I liked the unit as a whole. At $13 it was a win for me either way. Bearings went out in the fan. The one I replaced it with is still going strong though. With a better quality fan, they could charge upwards of $20.
