Pros:
Sturdy cable, plug-n-play for most applications, and FTDI chipset takes the headache out of trickier setups.
Cons:
Not the cheapest RS-232 to USB solution, but certainly the most universal one.
Overall Review:
Used for a scientific application. Talking to old instruments with new computers and definitely needed the FTDI chipset (built-in driver support in newer versions of windows).
