Pros:

Looks great, awesome onboard sound, awesome layout as nothing seems to conflict with anything else, seems like a sound motherboard if you can get one that works; two failed for me.

Cons:

UEFI or BIOS was useless as it is buggy. The mouse did not work and the arrow keys seemed impossible to use. I would click an arrow key then wait upwards of 30 or more seconds for the BIOS to respond and hopefully move; sometimes it would jump 2 or 3 items or possible I cued several clicks could go either way.

My hardware worked flawlessly on another board before attempting to install on this board so you can rule out 2 video cards, 2 sets of 4x4 or 16GB DDR 3 @2133, 4350 Processor, SSD, plus anything else. I have another working PC that I checked the memory and video cards with; but it is an FM2 Board so I can not check my processor. As I said I do not believe it to be my processor or any other hardware. Some BIOS options stayed when changed while other times they seemed to reset themselves. I used stock settings as I find no real need to over clock anything.

Using an SSD it took upwards of 4 min just to boot into Win7 Ultimate, 64 bit. Once the system was running it seemed to be ok, no BSOD. First board was replace via RMA, thanks NewEgg, and the second board was no better. Given my hardware I was expecting my system to have more zip and zing but it was more like slow and sluggish.

Needless to say I am done with Asus; their products lack any form of quality control what so ever. I had another Asus MB that took upwards of 2 MONTHS, more like some 70 to 80 DAYS to get replaced and I am here to say Asus has grown too big to care about the little guy anymore.

If you can get Asus to provide the correct information as to where to return an item I suggest you use Tracking and Signature plus insurance options to cover the cost of your item because the Asus RMA Process will LOSE your Product and leave you hanging for a replacement.

Worse yet you have a better chance of winning the LOTTERY without purchasing a ticket then you do of Asus lifting a finger to assist you. Granted they FINALLY replaced the defective MB with a REFURBISHED MB and it seemed to work as it should but it took upwards of almost 50 phone calls waiting on hold for days over a period of 80 days just to get a REFURBISHED BOARD. Nothing like spending over $250.00 US Dollars for a REFURBISHED Board.

I say this again Asus has grown too big to care about the little guy, and if you are not purchasing 100 products or more a day, consider yourself a LITTLE GUY...

Overall Review:

NewEgg has been a Godsend with regards to doing what was right to solve this issue for me. They have gone above and beyond the call of duty to assist me with this issue and for that "I thank you NewEgg..."

I have purchased from NewEgg for over 10 years and not once have I ever had any ISSUE with a product or RMA and I look forward to being a loyal customer for many decades to come.
