This review is from: AMD Radeon™ RP1866 Performance Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900) Desktop Memory AP316G1869U2K
Pros:
Looks cool...Low profile
Cons:
Fails MemTest and the System hangs.
It wont run stable for very long at @ 1866 MHz stock or AMP timings. (even with voltage bumped up a little)
It is stable at stock timings and voltage @ 1600 MHz, but not at AMP Timings. I am using a set of Kingston HyperX 1600 XMP modules and they are rock solid stable @ 1600 MHz XMP 1.3 (9,9,9,27), AMP settings or stock settings.
Overall Review:
Current BIOS, My case has low temps while testing. (72 deg F)
Motherboard and CPU are "rated" for 1866 speed.
I know now I should have bought Kingston HyperX Ram for my AMD 970 Chipset based motherboard and my FX-6350 CPU.
I will try again and see if I can get RAM to run stable and report back my results.
