I have a crosshair V formula MB,AMD FX 6200 cup and 16 GB of DDR3 1600 ram. Will moving up to this DDR3 1866 provide any more performance enhancement?

GPU and speed of CPU dictate your fps. RAM will assist the CPU conducting more DATA with the GPU and other parts of the system. Today's graphics provided on your monitors screen is provided by the video card resulting in, the more powerful your video card [large amount of memory and fast GPU] the better quality of the picture being produced onto your monitor. But don't rule out the monitor, a low quality monitor cannot produce a better picture no matter how much system memory you have nor the power of your video card. The short answer to your question is; negetable, possibly no. But then again when speaking about PC's the Good Ole American Syndrome applies, "bigger is better".

It will work, but, its both overdoing it, and likely halfway pointless, look at your motherboard, see how many slots it has for ram, if it has two extra slots, i suggest you get another pair of 4 gig sticks (ddr3 @ 1333mhz) and put that in there, it'll be a lot cheaper, and will give you pretty much the same performance boost. More technical data, higher speed ram (as in this ram is 1866mhzvs 1333mhz) usually has more ram latency (laymans terms, its like a car that has more horsepower, but, its much heavier so it takes longer to start moving fast) so its entirely possible that using this ram will actually (though not really noticably) slow down your computer vs using two 1333mhz 4gig sticks Again, it will work, though, its not recommended based on the fact that you'd be buying way more than you need I'd recommend this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148485 or at the very least something from this page http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007611%20600006050%20600006069%20600006126&IsNodeId=1&name=DDR3%201333%20%28PC3%2010600%29 hope i didnt say anything over your head

So I currently have 1 stick of G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 PC3 14900. Timing is 10-11-10-30 Cast Latency 10. My motherboard is a Asus M5A97 LE R2.0 AM3+. I also have a AMD 8350. Is this RAM compatible with my system (obliviously I will be removing my G.SKill)?

Would I be better getting the gamer memory and down clocking it to 1866? Price don't matter it's 10$

I do not have any empirical data to base my opinion on but intuitively speaking it would seem to be a waste of money to buy more memory speed than your motherboard can support.  In addition, you might run into some timing issues.  I purchased the RP1866 because that is the highest Mt/s (1866) and size (16G) my motherboard (a Biostar A880GX) will support.  If you want better gaming response I suggest you install AMD RAMDISK.  You can get 6G RAMDISK free from AMD if your system is using AMD RAM.
