VirVentures never shipped item but listed a fake shipping FedEx Tracking number and said it was shipped. When I contacted them, they said "We regret to inform you that due to some technical glitch we ended up listing the product we do not sell and hence, request you to kindly send us a cancellation request email as we do not sell the product you have ordered with us." I can understand listing something they didn't actually sell, but I cannot understand the how they listed it as shipped with a FAKE tracking number if they didn't have it to sell.

So I bought every component for a new AMD build. Everything came soooo fast...EXCEPT my fans and PS. They were scheduled to get here 15 days after everything else. So I cancelled fans, got my refund. Power supply said label created, so I could NOT cancel and get my money back even though it had not actually shipped. My only option now is to make a label and send it back at the cost of a 30% restocking fee and my wasted time. Other than that I had a great experience!

My order was supposed to be 2 day shipping. After a week I tried to track it and the tracking number was saying it was delivered a year previous to my order. I called customer service and the representative was problem with the company They deal with and it was going to take longer because she was going to have to contact them and that could take up to 2 days. She also wasn’t the nicest person to talk to. It has been 2 weeks since I placed my order and have yet to se it or even a email saying it has been shipped.

Shipping Information Errors

This is the second time I ordered from VirVentures. The price was very good, but both times there was an error in the shipping information. However, I did not contact them the first time and even though I could not track the item, I did receive it when I was supposed to. When the same error occurred when I reordered I knew there must be an error in the way my information had been entered in their computer system. Human error happens--I get it. This time I contacted them via New Egg Customer Service. They responded extremely fast, acknowledged and corrected the problem, and maintained correspondence with me until I received the item. I was very pleased. I only rated them 4 instead of 5 because they weren't perfect. But they did redeem themselves and I would not hesitate to order from VirVentures again.

Don't order if you want to actually receive your product

This seller ultimately did not send me the product after two weeks of back and forth with horrible communication. First, I ordered the item. The seller reached out the day after I placed my order to let me know they do not actually have it despite them listing it as in stock. I checked and they were still showing another color of it as in stock and it is the same price, so I told them I would be happy to receive that color instead. They said they would check on it and then did not message me again. A few days later, I received a notification that my card was charged and the order was shipped, despite still no communication. I waited for it to arrive and noticed on the day of that it was not shipping to me, it was delivered to another city. I reached out letting them know about this. They responded by saying that it was a technical glitch and that was the tracking from someone else's order. They also said that my order has already been shipped, and that they would get back to me with the tracking number. A few days passed, and I called the customer service number they have listed. There does not seem to be any way to talk to someone, only leave a message, and nobody called me back. I emailed again and finally they got back to me the next day saying that they have to cancel the order because they do not have the item, despite already saying it was shipped. They still listed the alternative color as in stock, so I reiterated that I would accept that as an alternative. Then they went ahead and canceled the order anyway, saying they had to cancel it because of "COVID-19 issues". So all in all, two weeks wasted, lots of frustrating back and forth with scarce and inaccurate communication from their end, all for them to blame the whole situation on COVID-19 when it sounds like in reality they have many operational issues and are using COVID-19 as a scapegoat.

Ordered back in May 2020. Never got item. Covid-19 shutdowns/ sicknesses were blamed told I'd get a refund weeks ago and I still haven't received one. They haven't even offered me a credit. These people need to be investigated. I'm not the only person who has went through this type of nonsense others have too. Please, believe some of the very negative reviews. They are accurate.

ZERO EGGS I have contacted this seller multiple times regarding this order. I get generic responses every time. I have been billed for this item that was supposed to go 2nd day shipping. It has been 3 weeks. I have asked for them to cancel and refund. They said that they would cancel because they cannot get the item and refund my money. It has been 4 additional days and no response or credit given. This is a VERY POOR company. I have been purchasing items from Newegg for over 20 years and this is by far the most unprofessional and useless experience i have ever had.

Product exactly as described, pictures realistic with no "shadows" or weird angles. Amazing tracking information of every step from purchase to delivery with updates on timely manner. This is not my first experience buying from Newegg but the overall experience have improved a lot since my past acquisitions.

I should have read the other reviews before I placed my order. My order was taking a while to ship, so I reached out to the seller and received very generic responses after much time had passed. After reading the reviews, I decided to cancel my order. It took so long to process my cancellation and get my refund. I had to involve newegg themselves to get anything done. I didn't even get a full refund despite cancelling my order before it supposedly shipped. After they had promised me a cancellation, I got a tracking number for an item that didn't weigh the right amount and was sent to the wrong address. Nothing really made sense. I would highly recommend against buying anything from them. This was a 2+ week hassle to get my refund. I even tried calling their company phone number multiple times, but they never answered.

The worst expierence i've ever had on newegg

This seller contacted me stating that the power supplies had all failed QC and that my order would be on hold unless i canceled it. That's fine. However what isn't fine is that they continually referred to my order as an order from a different marketplace (whose name I'm not allowed to type here for unknown reasons), spoke in barely comprehensible English, provided countless non functional links and then marked my order as shipped to some random address I've never seen in my life or given anyone. I had to contact Newegg which has opened a case but remains silent just to try and get my money back. Overall this is the worst seller you could ever possibly find on the face of the earth and i would not recommend touching any of their products with a 10 foot pole.
