Question 1

I CHARGED MY PICO AND TURNED IT ON, BUT COULD NOT TURN IF OFF. THE POWERING OFF INSTRUCTION SAYS PRESS.... AND THE POWER BUTTON.
DO I NEED TO PRESS AND ADDITIONAL BUTTON TO TURN IT OFF???

Hi,
To switch off the projector, press the power button (the smaller button located to the top-right of the button pad, assuming that the projector is oriented with the lens facing directly away from you). You should see an on-screen prompt (something like "To switch off, press again"). As it says - release, then press the power button again briefly to confirm switch-off.

Note also, as per the product documentation, that it will NOT charge over USB whilst it's switched on - I assume this is because it can't draw enough current from a standard USB port to enable this..
Once charged, the projector will run on its internal battery for a reasonable period of time.

Question 2

Does it have a HDMI or does it need an HTMI cord and attachment. Does this work for a Mac?

This does not come with a HDMI cable, and also if you wish to use a full size HDMI device you need a HDMI-mini to HDMI cable.  I purchased one with the projector for about 5 dollars.

It will work with any HDMI source, it does not matter if it's a Mac, a PC, a PS3, a Bluray Player, etc.

Hi!  Is this compatible with MacBook Air?

If you have the right connectors for hdmi it will. But what you.will need is the machdmi cable a female to female hdmi coupler and an hdmi to mini hdmi cable. Unless you can find a mac hdmi to mini hdmi cable.

Does it work while plugged in longer than the 80 minute battery?  Some say yes, some say no.

It seems to last longer when plugged in. I have watched a 3 hour movie while to was plugged thought the USB port on the laptop. I hope this helps

How big is this?

If you click on the Specifications tab, you can find the physical dimensions and other facts about the device.  Specifically, it's 4.25" x 2.36" x 0.7", which is a little bigger than deck of cards, but slightly smaller than most other Pico projectors I've seen.

Question 6

How long doest it take to charge?
Is there a way to watch a movie for more than 80 minutes (for instance: connecting it to a computer with the mini USB)?
How can I know when it is charged?

I purchased the projector for my father-in-law.  The documentation states that it will not charge while projecting.  The longest movie file he shows is just over 60 minutes, so it has been fine for him.

We did purchase a wall charger for it so it can charge while waiting to show the movie.  I have not heard from him how long it takes to charge.  Sorry.

As far as knowing when it is charged, there are lights showing the charge/power state.

We also purchased a pair of external speakers to use with it as the sound distorts when turned up close to full volume.

Sorry I meant there is NO remote capabilities but for its size it projects surprising well and at a very inexpensive price.

I read through some of the other answers but wasn't clear on if this projector charged while in use.  Can you please clarify?

It will play indefinitely when connected to wall power.  I've used them continuously for 4+ hours at a time while plugged in.  When I finished for the night, the batteries had a full charge.  I'm not sure what the charging rate is when the projector is running.  I suspect it might be slower than when the projector is powered off, but I'm pretty sure that they do charge whether they're on or not.

will this work with a macbook pro? probably a dumb question but i'm not computer savvy :)

I do not know, as we use a pc. However, I do not see why it wouldn't - since once it attaches to the computer it just projects the screen onto the wall or wherever. I seem to recall that the manual had destructions on how to set it up for both windows and mac.

You will need cable with mini-HDMI on one end (for the projector) and standard HDMI (or whatever kind of video output your macbook has) on the other end.
