Yes, it has 12 and 24 hr options. This is a very nice looking and sounding device, with excellent reception. Downsides, every time Bluetooth turns on it connects, and it makes very annoying and loud sounds when connecting. Still worth it, very nice clock

Yes; the speaker uses a simple Bluetooth connection to stream audio wirelessly from the device. Alternatively, the procure features an auxiliary connection and cable that plugs into the headphone jack of the iPhone.

How loud are the speakers and how bright is the light/can you adjust the brightness of the light?

The brightness is adjustable, I haven't tried it myself but I remember a friend of mine changing the brightness while playing around with it. It seemed like it had 3~4 levels of brightness.

I can't see the time in the morning when sun is shining 'into' the clock (but then what can overcome sunchine? Think about trying to use Laptop under sunlight, nearly impossible to see.), but otherwise, I didn't have any problem seeing the time.

Speaker is pretty loud, in fact, I don't like the volume up/down buttons it has. The buttons on this thing aren't that great. They are like touch buttons rather than clickable buttons and don't really feel like buttons. I'm never sure if the buttons did anything. It does make a unpleasant noise whenever button is pressed.

So I usually just control the volume on the device that I connect this thing to.

Question 4

I have an older model of the iPod nano which I'm pretty sure doesn't have Bluetooth. Does this clock have an AUX cord or can it connect to devices without Bluetooth?

Yes, this system has an aux input. I actually have an easier to use BT receiver that I use because I find the BT on this device to be a little bit cumbersome. I connect it thru the said Aux port with a 3.5mm stereo male to male.

Nope doesn't have a dock for your phone, it connects to your wirelessly via Bluetooth.
