Can this projector be mounted to a ceiling mount?

Accepted Answer

Yes, there are mount locations below the projector to allow for ceiling mount. The projection can also be tweaked (i.e. picture inverted and projection point changed depending on the location of the projector) to account for ceiling mounts as well.

How do you hook this up to a soundbar?

Accepted Answer

There's no digi op port on the projector so you'd have to plug that into whichever tv or console you want to use it for. That will set the sound for that device while you just have to run your hdmi cable after that. I personally have my surround sound hooked to my computer and had to buy 25 foot hdmi cables. They're pretty cheap on newegg, like 10 $ a piece. Or if your soundbar has an aux port, the projector has one of those for ya

Is there a wall mount that i can purchase to go with this item?

I purchased this projector and a "universal" mount from Newegg. The holes matched up but the threads for the projector didn't match any of the screws that the mount came with. I returned the mount and just used a wall mount shelf because I didn't feel like finding a machine screw to match the  projector. If you want to use a mount  plan on buying some screws to find a match... Not expensive but a shelf is still easier.

If I wanted to get a sound bar to go along with this projector, which model (under $400) would you recommend?

Unfortunately, this projector does NOT have an audio output jack, so you would need to either run audio directly from your source device (ie, Blu-ray player, computer, etc.) to the sound bar, or from the audio out on your receiver amplifier. Both methods require some work. With that in mind, virtually any sound bar will work as long as you are willing to research the compatibility with your source device.

As near as I can tell, they've been discontinued. I've been looking for a replacement lamp for a year. Unless your luck is different than mine, consider purchasing a new projector from a different company.
