Pros: This card gave an average speed of 154MB/s in HD Tach with Raid0 74GB 10krpm Maxtor U320 Drives in WinXP.
Cons: After fighting to make this thing work in Vista for a week I finally just gave up. I had it installed in an Asus P5WDG2-WS Pro workstation board and after completing the Vista Ultimate install it would slip into a continuous BSOD loop.
Overall Review: I replaced the card with an HP Smart Array 641 controller and all my problems went away. The disk speed was reduced to an average of 112MB/s but it works perfectly so that is fine by me. This card is ridiculously fast, just dont try and run Vista with it right now. I used the Feb 5 2007 Hostraid drivers from Adaptec's website. Hopefully a future release will fix things.
