I am wanting to install this in an Asus X79-Deluxe motherboard. (32gb of RAM and i7-4930) Will card this work in this? I wasn't sure if the PCIx 16 port would take a 4x card.

The answer is YES that is the motherboard I was using and had the 6805E installed.  No problems ever...

1. Does the 6805e support the amd880g chipset?
2. How much space is required between the next slot when installing the 6805e, I want to add a 20mm fan on the heat sink. I need to know how much space is needed. I currently have two pci slots next to the pci-e x16 slot where I plan to install the 6805e card. I plan to leave one pci slot empty next to  the pci-e x16 and a nic card in the other pci slot. Will I have enough room?

1. I have an Intel MB so I don't know about ADM. I have never seen anyone complain but you should contact Adaptec if you like.

2. I have a 10mm thick fan and it has plenty of room with one empty space. Looks like a 20mm fan may be a problem. You don't; really need much airflow to make a huge difference in temperature. I started with a fairly noisy fan that I had on hand and finally purchased the quietest low airflow 10mm fan that I could find. Fans are cheap (digikey is a good source) so just get a good quality ball bearing 10mm fan.
